The Inverness Caledonian Thistle F.C. flag flying from the Town House to celebrate their promotion into the premier league.
In just 10 years, ICT have ascended from the Highland League to top flight football and have made history along the way. Most memorably was the victory against Celtic in the Scottish Cup when they were victorious to the tune of 3-1. The immortal newspaper headline following the game read "SupercaleygoballisticCelticwereatrocious". I was there.

Pre-season friendly against Clachnacuddin with the silverware on show from the promotion from the first division.

The Clava Cairns.
Ancient burial site circa 2500bc just outside Inverness.

The Priory, Beauly.
The Old Kirk.

View across the river Ness from Queen St.

Inverness Castle. Flora MacDonald was (and is) here. Now it is a courthouse.
The Ben and The Cathederal.
Taken from the Ness Islands.
View from Scorgiue of the Black Isle with the Beauly Firth and Moray Firth, (Kessock Bridge) leading to the North Sea.
Loch Ness from Dores beach.
23 miles long, 1 mile wide, quite deep, very cold and dark.
Population of the earth can fit inside quite a few times over.
Rumours of prehistoric beasties abound. Most weekends (in summer) the family Harrison can be found here.
